So that a large number of different web browsers will be able to view this clip from the video of Sweet Singer we provide it in two different video formats: .avi and .mov. The AVI version should play with a variety of movie viewers such as Microsoft's Windows Media Player and Apple's QuickTime. The MOV version is native to Apple and Apple's QuickTime.
Please note that after all is said and done, the video files will likely work best on a properly installed Windows computer with Windows 2000 or Windows XP (or their successors).
For all this to work you must have Windows Media Player and/or QuickTime installed on your Windows machine or QuickTime on your Mac. Similar players are available for Linux operating systems. Other viewers may also work with these files. If you have a normal installation for your operating system and your web browser you will probably already have the required software. If you have difficulty with one format, try another before giving up. The buttons should work with Windows systems and perhaps others.
Unfortunately, none of this technology is foolproof nor well standardized. If the buttons do not work, try simply clicking (or double clicking) on the text link below each button. You may find that your operating system and movie viewer will start with a simple double click on one of the text links. You may also find that one viewer will show the video but not provide the sound. If that happens, try another viewer.
If all else fails you can download the appropriate file and play it offline. To download the appropriate video file to a Windows or Linux computer, click on a text link (the underlined word) with your right mouse button, then select "Save Target as" (or whatever is required by your browser) and the download dialogue should start.
Apple MAC Users. Clicking on the download link may start streaming play of the music using Quicktime in your browser window. To download the file hold down the Control key and click on the download link. Select "Download Linked File" from the menu that pops up. Your download dialogue should start.
Whatever movie viewer you are using will "pop-up" in a new window. This means that you may need to turn off any pop-up blocker you may be using in order to view the movie.
